Tips for using WP JOB CONNECT
1. If you cannot apply through WP JOB CONNECT it is because your account is currently in BROWSE ONLY access. All accounts are set-up to be browse only when they are created. In order to get full-access to the website please schedule an appointment to have your resume reviewed with a career counselor. You can schedule an appointment by calling 973-720-2653.
2. Once you sign-in please remember to keep an eye on the Calendar Feature. The calendar is constantly updated with upcoming workshops, employer events, and networking opportunities.
3. If you choose to create a Linkedin profile using WP JOB CONNECT then please connect with our office's group
Career Development and Advisement Center WPUNJ on Linkedin.
4. If you need help creating or managing your Social Media presence (Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, Blogs) then please contact the Career Development and Advisement Center for an appointment to assist you with using Social Media to your advantage in your job search!
5. The office will soon be rolling out a new Mentoring Feature through WP Job Connect. This will allow alumni the opportunity to sign-up as mentors for the current students at WPUNJ. Students will be able to choose mentors based on hometown, industry preferences, and things in common.
